Hey friends, welcome back to the show. We are so, so excited. This is an exclusive episode. Today we have got a very special guest so near and dear to my heart, my friend Kay and my QHHT practitioner. I can't wait for you to dive in with us and meet Kay. You're going to love her. I just want to give a little background.

Speaker 2:

Kay actually has devoted 38 years of her life to caring for people as a registered nurse. She really loved taking care of the tiniest little humans in the NICU during her time as a nurse and then, in July of 2021, she was guided to Dolores Cannon's hypnosis technique, which is called QHHT. That stands for quantum healing hypnosis technique. Kay studied this unconventional modality and she really felt a new calling arrives. So in September of 2023, kay left her job to follow this following and now is working as a full-time QHHC practitioner. She's married to Dave, which I love, dave, and they have four adult children and nine grandchildren, and they love caring for their garden together and traveling every chance they get. Kay, we're so glad you're here, thank you.

Speaker 3:

I'm excited to be here. It's great to be here.

Speaker 2:

Thanks, awesome. All right, so, listeners, we want to get started with just giving you some background. What is this QHHT, what is this all about? And so we're going to start there. So, kay, we would love for you to just share, you know, give us some definition of what QHHT is. You know, maybe kind of thinking about, you know, somebody who may be new to this hasn't heard it before. What are they getting into, what are they listening to? And then, you know, tell us if it kind of if there's some differences between QHHT and other hypnosis, and you know, maybe any kind of misconceptions that might come in as people start to think like what is this? Okay?

Speaker 3:

so QHHT is a hypnosis technique that was developed by Dolores Cannon.

Speaker 3:

She spent over 50 years perfecting this technique and it's very different from other types of hypnosis, because most hypnosis is for therapy or behavioral changes and that type of thing, and this kind of hypnosis is actually to help you connect with your higher self, with your super conscious, with that part of you that knows all about you, knows everything there is and is the part of you that is guiding you always, and so with this kind of hypnosis, you're able to tap into that part of you, and so it's very different from any other types of hypnosis, but I absolutely love it. I got so excited when I found it and I just started coming alive because it was like, wow, people can actually tap into this part of them and get all the answers they need, so answers to whatever kind of questions you have, like questions about your purpose in this life and in your health and your relationships, maybe just some questions about mysteries and things in your life that you just want to know about. So it's good for a lot of different reasons and yeah, no.

Speaker 2:

I think that's great. I love what you are saying there, kay, and I love the piece that you get in that description. I think you're bringing some calm to that. Sometimes, when there are things that maybe are considered alternative approaches, then some people are like I don't know, that seems scary, that seems weird, all of those kind of things. But in your description there you really painted and I could feel that, and part of it might be because I have experienced it already, so I know that it's not scary, but I could feel the peace in what you said there. It's very specific to let you connect to who you are, and that's so great we love that that, oh, hypnosis.

Speaker 3:

I can't be hypnotized, you know, I don't know if I want to be hypnotized. And you know I just kind of want to put everybody at ease that we go in and out of these states of hypnosis throughout the day and, like right now, we're in that beta state where you know we're active and talking, but we go in and out of alpha all day long. We while we're reading, watching TV, all kinds of things like that. But the theta stage, the state of brain waves that we're in, happens right before we fall asleep at night and then right as we're waking up in the morning, and that state is the state that you enter when you do a QHHT session. So it's just a very deep, relaxed state. We all do it every day. It's easy to access and it's just a place where you can connect with yourself in just a very powerful way.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, absolutely, I can say that that's how it felt for me. You know, a lot of the time it felt like I was still really awake and alert, but I knew that I wasn't, and so it really was this place where you just felt like you could settle and be able to access what you wanted to access there. So, yeah, I definitely felt that as part of mine for sure.

Speaker 1:

So this is fascinating, and I jot down my questions that come up that are not related to the questions we sent you, so I'll save those. Um, but I'd love to hear like this is not a typical journey, right? It's something that you felt drawn to, you felt called to, and I'd love to hear more about what was that calling that you felt that really led you to be like I'm going to do this for other people and you know what has been the most rewarding part of that experience?

Speaker 3:

Yeah. So I was actually following Dolores Canning on YouTube and listening to her videos and have been doing that for a couple of years and then one day, just randomly I'll say randomly I heard her mention her technique and how she was teaching other people and I was like no way, this is awesome. And so I just immediately started researching about it and I was like this is what I need to do. I just knew deep down, everything in me was like this is what I need to do. I just knew deep down, everything in me was like this is what you need to do. And so I immediately just signed up for the course and I finished it like in 10 days. It was like a two-month course and I finished it so quickly. But I was just like gobbling it up because it's like everything that she was talking about was just making me come alive inside and in my heart.

Speaker 3:

Like obviously my whole life has been like just wanting to help people, and maybe on a physical level and even on a spiritual level, and to be able to hold space for people in this way where they can really connect to the highest part of them and get their answers and find healing and whatever it is they're looking for. To be able to be in that space where people can have that experience just seemed like the most wonderful thing I could possibly do, and it honestly has been. It has been so rewarding to be able to watch people come in with their questions and get them all answered and see people healed and see people connect with their higher selves and open them up to just new avenues and see their purpose, and there's just something about that that just you know feels so good. So, yeah, it's very rewarding. I've enjoyed every minute of it.

Speaker 1:

Oh my gosh, that's good. And as a former, like a mom of a NICU baby, I can only imagine having you in the NICU as a nurse like just in the passion that you talk about with this and. I'm sure you carried that there, like just in the passion that you talk about with this, and I'm sure you carried that there. You've clearly been blessing people for a long time. So thank you for sharing that piece with us.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I think it's so great and I you know, knowing Kay and being in spaces with her even before QHHT Kay really does have this gift of being able to hold space for people and so you know, I think it is something that stands out for Kay as a practitioner.

Speaker 2:

And you know, a lot of times we don't like to boost ourselves or talk about ourselves. It feels uncomfortable. But I just want to honor you, friend, because you absolutely have that, and I know that that is why you are seeing some of these results that you're seeing in people, because you're creating a space where it feels okay to go there, it feels safe to do that, and you're then holding a space where you can navigate through that. And so I know you started talking a little bit before, but let's dive in a little bit more about, like, what are some of the real common reasons that you know people might show up for QHHT or get curious, want to kind of dig in with you, know past life, regression and what the higher self is going to bring? Like, what are some things that people are looking for?

Speaker 3:

Yeah, so people come for gosh all kinds of reasons. Many times they're on their healing journey and just wanting a deeper level of healing emotional healing, physical healing. Some people come just wanting questions answered about their life. You know their life's path and you know where they're going, where they've been, their relationships, who, the people that they're connected to. You know things like that and I've even had people want to connect with like others from the other side, with like others from the other side.

Speaker 3:

Specifically right now, I'm just remembering one client who his whole intention for the session was to connect with his dad for closure. His dad had passed away many years before and he didn't have closure and so that was his whole intention for the session and it was just so beautiful when his dad, like, showed up in the session and he got to, you know, hug him, and you know I say that it's all on the inside, but you know his spiritual self got to give him a big hug and talk to him and they had a conversation and that was just like that's what he needed. So it just can be so varied, um, depending on what each person is wanting or needing in their life.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, absolutely. And Kay, what do you usually suggest for people when they're coming to you? Um, you know the time that they should take in preparing for it. Like, are they setting up these questions beforehand? Um, you know what is the practice of that. What does that look like for someone?

Speaker 3:

So, yeah, when I first connect with a client, I do ask them to begin to prepare a list of questions for their higher self. These are questions that I will ask or address their higher self during the session. So these questions can be, you know, any of the things we just mentioned. You know about relationships and their past lives, can be about you know really absolutely anything, and so preparing the questions is a big part of it. I think it's good for people to be able to meditate or to at least sit quietly and be able to just, you know, kind of block everything out and spend some time with themselves. That's very helpful.

Speaker 3:

You can do guided meditations on YouTube. There's tons of guided meditations that help you visualize. That's a big part of it is being able to visualize or hear or just experience like you would a dream, how you would experience like a dream in the night. You know, you hear and you see and you feel things. So just being able to do those things is very helpful. So, yeah, and timing you mentioned that and timing is everything, and I see that so often when maybe a client has scheduled a session and then, for whatever reason, we have to reschedule. You know it happens time and time again, and it always just works out in the most perfect timing, or you know. So just being guided to when your session is supposed to take place is a big part of that as well.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I can share that that's. That was huge for me, and Kay knows that that we kept kind of talking about it. I had a lot of curiosity about it for a long time. It's always kind of been something that I know I'm very connected to intuitively and I knew there was another layer that could help support digging in with that. But it was the same thing. It was just like I just don't know when it is, you know.

Speaker 2:

And then I had a sauna session, which, if you guys follow me, you know that those are when some real crazy downloads come down for Shauna in those sessions. But I was in a session, a sauna session, one day and my higher self did tell me exactly when to go and there were some things that actually were bumping up against that when it came close to that time, just some physical things that were coming up for me and we were like, no, just be okay with it, this was really intended. And gosh, yeah, so much continues to be connected to that date and that time. And so, yeah, I love that you share that and for people to feel that you do kind of just have to see what that means for you and when it is important. If it is important to you, then you'll start to figure out the when part of it.

Speaker 2:

And yeah, perfect timing will happen for sure. Awesome.

Speaker 1:

I think, when I reflect back on you talking about about, like how you got brought to this, and I wrote down.

Speaker 1:

I hear your story after a committed career and shifting into something that brings you as much, if not more, joy. It's just I want to make sure we emphasize that piece for the listeners because it's it doesn't matter when or how or what it looks like. We're always evolving if we allow it. And so I think that really leads well into kind of this next question is like if people are ready to evolve into this space, like, what can they expect from joining you for their first session? What kind of you know what does a typical session look like? They've felt called to schedule, then what?

Speaker 3:

Yeah, so a typical session it usually lasts anywhere from four to six hours and, yeah, so the client comes in and we just spend the first couple hours getting to know one another. It's really, really important for the client to feel comfortable and safe and be able to trust me in the space, and so the more we sit and talk about them and me we're just sharing and getting to know one another, the more comfortable they feel, and the trust issue is such a big part of being able to let go and trust your higher self, even during the session. But just starting with trusting your practitioner and feeling like you're in a safe and loving environment is so key to the whole thing. So I really just trying to set the stage for for what's to follow. So we sit and talk for you know however long, at least a couple hours and then, um, then I have them get over here in my big comfy reclining chair and just get relaxed and comfortable and put a blanket on, because when you get relaxed you get kind of cool. So we get them all comfortable in the chair and it's basically just kind of like a guided meditation as I lead them into this very deep relaxed state. I'm not guiding where they're going, I'm just guiding them to be relaxed and at a certain point we get to the place where their higher self and I don't know if your listeners are, you know, familiar with the higher self or you know what you call it, but that part of you that's guiding you always and I'll just regress a little bit here to say that the higher self is orchestrating all of this.

Speaker 3:

I think the higher self is the one that is bringing the client to the session, bringing them to me, to connection, for the people is always a big part of it. And then the higher self has this whole session planned out. So we get to this part of the hypnosis where, where they're in that relaxed state and the higher self just takes over and we'll take the client on a journey what and it's so specific to you, the client, to the person, it's what you need, it's what will most benefit you, and that's where I just trust that. I trust that in all my sessions that wherever they go is where they need to go, and so the higher self will begin to either show them things, take them to a past life, a parallel life, a future life, whatever, or give them just this amazing experience. Some clients have gone all the way back to source energy or to between lives. There's so many places your higher self can take you.

Speaker 3:

And so, as they begin to have the experience, I'm just kind of the facilitator. I'm just there asking questions about what they're seeing, hearing, feeling, sensing. I'm just allowing them to have their experience, but trying to bring as much out of that as possible as they go wherever they're guided. And so, after that part happens, we kind of switch into the last part of the session, where I asked to speak with their subconscious, which the subconscious that Dolores addresses is not the same as is known in psychology. It's also like your super conscious, your higher self, your over soul, whatever you want to call that, that part of you that brought you here. And so at this point we talk about the things that were shown to the person in the first part of the session and why, and let those things come through. And then, when the time is right, we get their list of questions out and I just asked her herself all the questions and their answers come through. So it's just a very beautiful way that it all unfolds, and afterwards I bring them out.

Speaker 3:

They realize how deep they were in that relaxed state. Sometimes they're not aware of that. During the session and I meant to mention this earlier Dolores used to take people into a state called the somnambulistic state and that was a state where they were so deep that they'd come out of the session and they wouldn't remember anything. But over time and over years, and as consciousness has evolved, our consciousness is more aware and you know, and more evolved, people in sessions don't go that deep. They're consciously aware of what's happening, like they're right there experiencing all of this and they, they remember it and and sometimes they question you know, did I make that up? That happens all the time, but that is so common. But there's no way you can make this stuff up.

Speaker 3:

There's just no way that you can plan to to, you know, have go to that life or two or three lives or whatever, and plan it, all the details of it there's. It's just not possible. So, um, but it it is. They are very aware and they do remember it and it. But it may be kind of like in the morning when you've had a dream and you're coming out of the dream, things start to fade and you don't remember everything as well. But one of the key things that helps you to know that they were very deep and in that space is when they come out, time seems to have just flown by out. Time seems to have just flown by, like we may have been in that session for two hours and the client will feel like it's, you know, been 30 or 45 minutes, and so they're always quite taken back when they find out how long that they've been under.

Speaker 3:

So I hope that answered your question and explained how the session goes.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, absolutely. So much of that, right, I think that, like when I came out of my session, like I was like, was that like 20 minutes? But you know, I think we're going to dive in deeper another time about my session specifically, but I will say, just so people are aware, like kind of what happened. So, yeah, I did experience several lives that I was able to revisit and answer some questions that have kind of related to this life and things that were going on, and they were real ahas. But, like Katie said, there was no way to make this up. I actually had never thought of these lives before specifically or anything like that. And so it really is. You know, when you're open to that, it really is something that can continue to be such a tool and and how it's a tool now I think kind of goes into you know what I was going to ask you.

Speaker 2:

2k is like you know I love the fact that you record the session because, yeah, you want to. You know, I do remember the session. I really do, and there are lots of pieces I remember. But I go back. I just recently went back to my session and actually did some journaling with it and it was so incredible, some of the themes that were coming through, that I was getting, and I was underlining some of the things I kept repeating little phrases through different questions that really were unrelated, but then I was seeing all of these connections to some of the things that I'm currently working through emotionally, spiritually, physically, all of that. So, yeah, super powerful. So I was going to ask you, kay, about that, but, katie, I thought maybe you had something to say, so I didn't want to Were you about to say something about that.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, not about that. I was just curious because I think this will help our listeners even outside of a QHT session. But you talked about at the beginning of your sessions you're helping people learn to trust, to like open up to their higher selves. So I was wondering if you could elaborate a little bit on that and like how you help people do that, because I think it's something you know we talked about, like being open to receive and things like that. So kind of walk us through how you guide people to really trust themselves, to open up.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, sure. So I kind of see our higher selves as, or us as a small part of our soul that comes into this life. And the rest of us that's not in this body is our higher self and learning. I think it's so much a part of us and we're guided by it and we're I don't even know how to say it we're so connected that we don't even realize that we're going throughout our day and we let the things on the outside, the external, cloud our vision of that or our experience of that, and we'll brush it off, you know, but it's I think that's what I see so often in these sessions is people are like but that was me, like I, I would have said that to me and I'm like, yes, because it is you, it is your higher self, your higher self is you've been listening and being guided by this part of you your whole entire life.

Speaker 3:

And learning to trust it is so important. So what I tell everyone in the session, very first thing, is to trust the first thing that comes to you always, and so you can do this in your own personal life. When you're, you know, going throughout your day, or you're in meditation and you're asking a question. You just trust the first thing that comes, because it's all the other stuff is us trying to analyze it or think how we can do it differently, or, you know, maybe it should have been this, but typically the very first thing that comes to us or comes through is our higher self. And so, as far as trusting that, the more you act on that first thing and trust it coming through, then the easier it gets the next time and the next time, until you can be in a place where that thing that pops into your head or into your spirit or that you feel in your body, you know immediately that your guidance, that your higher self and you, you trust it more just by acting on it.

Speaker 3:

And so in my sessions, what I tell people is when you trust the first thing that comes through and you describe it in as much detail as possible, so not just brushing it off, but allowing it to come through in its fullness, whatever that looks like, um, is you know, that's trusting it, that's saying yes, you know, I hear you, I'm trusting you and give me more. And then in my sessions, uh, I say you know, then just talk about it, you know in as much detail as possible. So I think, as we trust it, allow more to come through, maybe write it down. You know those kinds of things. It gets easier and easier just every time you, you act on it.

Speaker 2:

Thank you, such a good explanation of that and yeah, that's it, just just noticing it, you know, observing it and being able to respond and be okay, it really does build. That I know and I can share super quickly. For me, the very first thing that came through in my session was actually at first I was like, am I not doing this right? You know that mind does try to get in there, because I was just seeing a lot of different colors of light and swirls and I was feeling it and describing it, but it was taking a while and it took a while before, you know, I moved into the next parts of it. But later, when we were going through those, those subconscious records is kind of what I refer to them is. You know, later I was very intentional.

Speaker 2:

My higher self actually was like, remember, like you're working on slowing down, like that was slow, was actually on purpose, and gave some more visuals around, like the swirls of those lights even meant things like how my mind, when I'm in hustle mode, is so swirly and so much is going on. And so my higher self was showing me how I can use that as a tool to kind of see that settle happen. And so, yeah, like what Kay said that trust is so important because I wouldn't have gathered all of that now, you know, had I not, if I had been pushing away like oh no, I'm not doing this right, because there actually was so much meaning to whatever you know was coming through at the time. So, yeah, so, so important, awesome, so cool Anything, kay, that you would share. As far as you know clients, once they do have a session and kind of move into wanting to continue to stay connected to that, is there anything in their daily life or things that you would encourage to kind of help integrate the insights to continuing to support that?

Speaker 3:

Yeah, you mentioned the recording earlier, and the recording is just so important because the recording it not only takes you back to the experience but allows you to gain more information from it.

Speaker 3:

And I don't think a lot of people realize that when you're in that state and you're in that place of, of connected to your higher self, your guides, all the spirit team on the other side, it's a very high vibrational, high frequency um space, and I mean it really is.

Speaker 3:

And so when you listen to that recording again, you get brought back into that, that whole atmosphere, and so more information can come through. Or maybe you just didn't hear it the first time you listened to it or you didn't remember it, but the more you listen to it, more things come through, either because you're getting more information, or because you just missed it the first time, or because there's a different perspective of it that's needed to be seen. So listening to that recording is so very important, and Dolores Cannon says that it rewires your brain, so it's that frequency really is having an effect on you, not only spiritually but emotionally and physically, and so it's just a really, really important thing to do, and even as far down the road as six months to a year or longer. When clients go back and listen to that recording they're, they always say that they hear something new. They hear it in a different way, and so it's just a very it's a good thing to have.

Speaker 2:

Yes, absolutely, I know mine is.

Speaker 2:

You know I'm going on four months here since my session and, yeah, you know I mentioned I've gone back to it several times, but the last time I did it was actually kind of funny.

Speaker 2:

I was just being called to do it, like, just, I kept getting this, like you really should go listen to that.

Speaker 2:

And so I really just listened to it, like let myself just lay there in bed at the end of the day and listen to it. And then the next day so many things that were connected were coming through and happening in this life and what I was doing and some things that would have probably felt like a lot of turmoil, actually some surprise things were happening that day and I had such a peace and I was able to hold such a peace for other people that were involved in that and I was like, oh, that was why, you know, like you said, it was bringing me to that frequency of being able to hold more of that peace. So just wanted to share that, as you were saying that, because, yeah, it really does have a connection energetically. That I think kind of feels funny to talk about sometimes because you know, as humans we're not so fluent in that always, but you can truly feel that and I think you'll have that experience for anyone who does that.

Speaker 3:

Katie mentioned earlier about what was so rewarding about doing QHHT and I mentioned a few things, but I have a few more thoughts about you know, just I've had clients physically heal themselves of fibromyalgia, thyroid issues, an injured foot that was healed on the spot, headaches, just so many things and things that were carried over from past lives that they didn't realize were connected to a past life. When they go back to a past life and see it, like it just instantly is healed. And I've had clients that, like I said, have met and spoken with members of their family that have passed on, but met their guides and got messages from their guides and their future selves. And recently had a client well, this has been about a year ago, but it's like after her session, all of her psychic abilities came online and she's just been really, you know, moving into that, just started awakening, it just exploded. There's just so many things.

Speaker 3:

It's hard to just say there's one. There's so many things, and I love that. It just gives me so much joy to see people coming alive, like I did when I got into this, and just see them, you know, expanding in their consciousness, and that's why I'm doing this. It is a way for me to hold space and hold a high consciousness level for people that allows them to expand their consciousness in this space and, sidebar, it's been expanding my consciousness like crazy. I mean, you can't, you know, spend so much time in this space of high vibrational frequency and talking to people's higher selves and their guides and you know I'm the one having the conversation with the other side and it has just literally transformed my life and opened me up to so many things. And I've actually learned that that I've been doing this holding space for people in most of my past lives. This is what I've been doing for eons and it's like, oh okay, that makes sense because it just comes so easy. So it's rewarding on so many different levels and I just wanted to share that.

Speaker 2:

I love that and actually I think that actually kind of brings us in a good place for for wrapping, because I think what we were hearing there is that you know it really is a joy experience for everyone involved and that you can go into this with whatever intention it is, that you have Right, and so it can be, you know, a small thing, a big thing, whatever that is, but you're going to get what you need, and we say that a lot on the show.

Speaker 2:

We always know that and are confident in whatever we're talking about. Whoever shows up is getting exactly what you need, and I just love that QHHT is such a tool like that too is that you really just go there open and aware and allow what to come through and to continue to come through, and it's such a safe shared space with UK. It'll contact me through email and I'll get back to you. I just want to add to that I also do some group sessions. There it's a lighter state of hypnosis, but, you know, for groups of friends, small groups of friends, or retreats, I do offer. Offer that as well, and that's an opportunity to meet your guides and have a group past life experience or a future life experience. So all those are fun things to do, so so, so cool.
